Generation Australia

Who are we?
Generation Australia is an education and employment organisation that supports vulnerable people into sustainable jobs where there is industry demand. Our mission is to help break generational unemployment and provide economic mobility to disadvantaged communities to drive long-lasting impact.

Generation Australia
Worldwide, more than 75 million young people are unemployed and there are 375 million workers of all ages who need to learn new skills by 2030. Generation is working to transform education to employment systems to help both workers and employers thrive in the face of these challenges.
What are we doing?

How can we support vulnerable people in to meaningful and well-paid careers, whilst also addressing the skills shortage in Australia in sectors like tech and healthcare?

Generation Australia: Core operations

The 3-year funding will support Generation Australia’s core operational needs allowing the organisation to scale and support more people, whilst also delivering funds directly into the existing programs and learners themselves. As we look to support the most vulnerable people, there is additional funding for specialist mentorship and services that will be needed. Generation Australia is aligned to the Paul Ramsay Foundation's purpose to drive impact and break intergenerational cycles of disadvantage by working with youth and families, building skills that will help people meet their daily needs and save for the future through sustainable careers.
