inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence

Who are we?
inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence
inTouch works across the family violence continuum, providing culturally-informed case management for victim-survivors, programs for men who have used violence, a fully accredited community legal centre and specialised migration assistance, crisis recovery, learning and development programs and enhanced capacity-building projects across the sector and community. We are proud to provide high-level leadership and guidance to all levels of government with our evidence-based, victim-survivor informed policy, advocacy and research work.
What are we doing?

A national approach to family violence in migrant and refugee communities

inTouch will develop a nationally co-ordinated approach to policy and advocacy on issues relating to family violence in multicultural communities, through an affiliated state/territory system; create a national multicultural victim-survivor advisory group that can inform and guide the debate on service reform and the client experience; and establish a partnership model that brings together multicultural communities, victim-survivors, academics, policy makers, and practitioners to build the evidence base and expand our knowledge.
