Who are we?
Katungul Aboriginal Corporation Regional Health & Community Services
Katungul Aboriginal Corporation Regional Health & Community Services ICN 1816 (Katungul) is a community-controlled (and owned) organisation that provides culturally appropriate health care to Aboriginal communities on the Far South Coast. It has medical/dental clinics in Narooma, Batemans Bay and Bega. Katungul provides outreach support and specialist programs to serve surrounding areas and provide Aboriginal-specific health care. This is inclusive of a Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) program, Disability Services (NDIS provider), Children and Family Services and, through these specific programs and brokerage funding from South Coast Women’s Health and Welfare Aboriginal Corporation, we provide support for victims of domestic violence.
What are we doing?

Katungul Women’s Healing Centre

Expansion and development of the Katungul Women’s Healing Centre in Bega. This is inclusive of the transition from commercial kitchen into a communal kitchen for shared use by the Healing Centre residents; the funding of two minibuses to provide daily transport services for school children and the mothers and, furnishings for communal child play and dining areas.
