The Justice Reform Initiative

Who are we?
The Justice Reform Initiative represents a remarkable opportunity to genuinely shift Australia's appetite for incarceration and to build a more just and fair community.
The Justice Reform Initiative
The Justice Reform Initiative is an advocacy organisation committed to reducing Australia's harmful and costly reliance on incarceration. We seek to halve the Australian prison population by 2030 by promoting evidence-based alternatives, engaging political leaders and policy makers, and changing the public narrative about the role of imprisonment.
What are we doing?

How can we empower students to gain knowledge about and improve their health so they can make positive, informed choices for life?

The Justice Reform Initiative - Justice Reform Initiative Phases 1 and 2

The Justice Reform Initiative will build a national advocacy campaign to mobilise public opinion in the community and engage parliamentarians at state and national levels to bring about a government commitment to and investment in evidenced-based alternatives to incarceration.
