Who are we?
This collaboration with PRF has allowed us to provide vital historical context about the diverse community of Darlinghurst and connect with the community around us.

The UTS Australian Centre for Public History promotes the practice and understanding of history within academia and the broader community through research and activities. It develops national and international public history networks, hosts seminars and conferences, and takes history to public audiences.
What are we doing?

UTS Australian Centre for Public History - Cycles in History, Darlinghurst Book

The Cycles in History, Darlinghurst book, will examine the interwoven identities and complex intersecting cycles of wealth and poverty in Darlinghurst since pre-European arrival. Archival voices and modern narratives will consider a place through the lens of intergenerational change, identifying which themes connect across generations.
