Yirranma Place acknowledges that we work, live and play on the stolen land of the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation, who are the traditional custodians of Darlinghurst. Yirranma pays respect to the elders past, present and future of the Eora Nation and extends that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait people.

Youth Action is the peak organisation representing young people and youth services in NSW. Our work helps build the capacity of young people, youth workers and youth services, and we advocate to see positive change on issues affecting these groups.
Our vision is for a society where all NSW young people are supported, engaged, valued and their rights are realised.
‘Yirranma’ is the tonal reverberation or sound within a chamber. Maungarei - Mt Wellington, in its natural state, would contribute this low drone created by the winds moving over its volcanic crater. This natural phenomenon existed before the migration of waka landing in the Tāmaki Makaurau region.
